Chapter Twelve: Is it... over?
Wolf sighed as he looked around the building. Artemis and Pheonix were trying to cut out their vehicles (Along with Wolf's), Senretsu was trying to construct a basketball net (Boredom!) and the other burners were... Probably doing something.
Wolf contemplated. What was there to do? He couldn't give Senretsu his bike... but... There were those two drones that he could maybe reprogram...
Wolf walked over to Artemis and Pheonix, and somehow managed to get their attention from behind the orange barriers preventing eye damage.
"Yo," he said "Can you guys quickly pull something out of my van? There's a drone in there that I want to examine!"
"Alright... It'll be out in a few, Dude!" Pheonix replied.
*A ffew minutes later*
Wolf dragged the drone- which was surprisingly light, compared to the other one- onto a table.
He immediately set to work removing the outer shell, revealing the vulnerable insides of this robot.
Only, it was like nothing he'd seen or even read about before.
He called Senretsu over "Hey, Bro! Come check this bot out!"
Senretsu stood up from soldering the basketball net togeter, and walked over. "Holy..." he said, looking at the inards of the bot. "Wait, where'd you get this from?" he asked.
"It's the ex-driver of your new bike." Wolf said, still looking at the Drone. "I'm going to need some help figuring out how this works. You help me, you get a drone's bike."
"Alright!" Senretsu said, cracking his fingers. "Just tell me what to do!"
"Start by finding whatever could possibly be a hard drive... I'm going to go get some food from the City. After all, this is going to be a long night..." Wolf said.
Wolf tagged a ride with one of the Burners, as Senretsu got to work.
*Several Hours Later*
Senretsu sighed, relieved. "I've got it, Wolf. This is what controls this robot!" he said.
Wolf shook his head slowly and looked up at Sen. "What, little bro? Oh yeah! The bot!"
"Yeah, man. I got the hard drive. It looks like it's just some leeched technology from our side, though... Maybe these were built by humans?" Senretsu suggested.
"Maybe" Wolf shrugged "Maybe not."
"Yeah... Well, still. This is pretty cool. Maybe we should finish this tomorrow, though..." Sen said.
"Mmh, good idea, bro..." Wolf said, already getting up.
*The next day, some time around 3 PM*
Wolf finally got out of his bed, his hair a mess, and still fully clothed. He wandered out to the Cafateria of the Acceledrome and grabbed some coffee.
Senretsu walked in mere moments later. "Eh, morning, bro..."
"Mornin', bro." Wolf said, knucklepunching Senretsu sloppilly.
Wolf sipped his coffee for a while, sitting in silence with Senretsu, until Raioh walked in. "Holy crap. You two ARE alive!" he said, grinning. "What the hell were you guys doing last night?"
"Mmh... Working on that drone..." Wolf said, yawning.
"Eh? MAke any progress?"
"Yeah... We found the HDD. We're going to work on figuring out the code later..." Wolf said, yawning again.
"How much later? It's 3 PM, dude." Raioh said, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh really?" Wolf said.
"Yeah really."
"No way! Alright, right after I finish my coffee." Wolf said.
"Alright, man. I'll find you then."
Wolf chugged down the rest of the coffee, and wandered out to the wrecked Bot, where Raioh was already working.
"Hey, man. Ready to start working?" WOlf said.
"mm, yeah, sure..." Raioh said.

Wolf and Raioh stood back and admired their work, which had been transformed from an already-cool looking Bot, to something almost... Angelic. (Think the riders of the RD-07s, with white instead of black, blue instead of green, and the Cruiser's logo where a breast pocket would be. :D)
Wolf turned the bot on and said: "State your designation, model and function."
The bot's blue eyes opened, and it stood up and said: "Angel Two. CS-01. To inform, protect, and assist all members of the Canadian Cruisers racing team."
"State the names of the members of the Canadian Cruisers." Raioh said.
"Trevor Hardright, Alias Pheonix. Driver of the Kamikaze. Raioh Shinada, Driver of the Seven. Ross Kazumaru, Alias Wolf. Driver of the Junkyard."
Wolf smacked Raioh on the back of the head for programming that in.
"And Clark Kazumaru. Aliases Senretsu and Sen. Driver of the CR-01, and the Sling Shot." the Drone finished.
"Uhh... I'll assume the CR-01 is the bike I brought back... But what's the Sling Shot?" Wolf said.
"Oh, right. You were asleep the whole day. Earlier in the day..." Raioh said.
*Earlier in the day...*
Dr. Tezla: "OMGWTF HAY LOK I BUILD SENRTZU A N00 CAR!!1!! OMGZ!!!1!! HAXXXXXX!!!!!1"
*Back in the present*
"Was that even anywhere close to what happened?" Wolf said.
"Not... really, no. But Tezla 'found' Senretsu a new car." Raioh said.
"Huh. Interesting." Wolf said.
"Yeah, it's uh... Over there." Raioh said, pointing over to the "garage", where a car that was indeed the Sling Shot (Yep. One in the same.) was. For the color scheme, think the Track Aces version with Teku Tires.
((Author's note: Something just occured to me. How does Shirako look behind himself in the movies? There's no rear window...))
"Interesting. I'll have to tell Senretsu later." Wolf said.
"So, uh. Why did we call this Drone Angel Two? I mean, why not Angel One?" Raioh said.
Wolf shrugged. "I just had the feeling that Angel One was already taken." he said.
"So, uh. Angel Two. Do you know how to make Pizza?" Raioh said.
"No, Sir Raioh, master of all he surveys, lord of the seven seas, and Awesomeness In Chief." Angel Two replied, her- Wolf just had a feeling it was a her- voice cool and metallic.
"Pfft, suck up." Wolf said. "Fix her voice, dude. And take your super-long title off there, man... Oh yeah, and give her some personality!"
"Why should I do what- Oh heck. I was going to do that anyway." Raioh said.
Raioh set to work, and Wolf wandered off to get some more Coffee.
